Chai makes a great addition to the Terre D'Ange appaloosa and appaloosa sport horse breeding program - as a few spot she is capable of producing any of the appaloosa patterns. Chai has a wonderful and gentle nature. She has not competed, but when she was a young horse her breeders used her for their teenage daughter, and Chai rarely caused trouble despite her young age. She's kept her sweet nature as she's matured, and is going to make an important contribution to future generations at Terre D'Ange.
What's In A Name?: Chai is one of my favourite teas - a black tea spiced with additions such as cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, star anise and cloves, though there are many variations on the market. It originated in India, and is enjoying popularity with the swanky as a chai latte, though I prefer mine black witout sugar.
