Eos is an absolutely stunning mare who was imported from England by another stable several years ago, and I was thrilled at the chance to bring this gorgeous mare to Terre D'Ange. She had a break from showing for the birth of her first foal, then continued with an incredible dressage career. Sadly, an injury forced her permanent retirement in 2002. She can be a little hot-tempered, so you need to keep a firm hand with her.

What's In A Name?: Eos, in Greek mythology, was the Titan goddess of the dawn. Every morning she would open the gates of heaven so that her brother Helios, the sun, could ride his chariot across the sky. She is also the iconic figure after which the image of Christian angels were taken from.
