Isis was bred in South Australia and competed at show jumping with a lot of success. She also competed in hacking, and won much praise for her beautiful looks and wonderful turnout. She's a lovely mare with a very giving nature. She has since retired to the much less demanding life of a broodmare, which suits her just fine (though it could be argued that having and raising babies is more demanding than any show could ever be). She's a great mother, and endears herself to everyone.
What's In A Name?: Isis is the Egyptian goddess who was married to Osiris, and who among other things was a guardian of travelers and of the dead.
