Phèdre is a lovely mare, and her preence at Terre D'Ange was practically predestined due to her name. She has competed lightly in dressage with success, taking some time out for the birth of her first foal as a young mare. She has beautiful, powerful movement that her offspring always pick up as naturally as breathing. She has now settled into the life of one of our permanent broodmares, but still enjoys a light hack every now and then to keep her interested.

What's In A Name?: Phèdre is the name of the heroine in the 'Kushiel's Legacy' series by Jacqueline Carey. She is a native of Terre D'Ange, and is pricked by Kushiel's Dart, making her a natural anguisette.
