Storm Alert is a marvellous mare who managed to have a marvellous dressage career, taking two years off for the birth of her first two foals before returning to the ring. Sadly a few years later Storm had to retire permanently due to a serious fetlock injury. She handled the transition from spotlight to motherhood with ease, and is still a leading lady in her new lifestyle. She is a beautiful mare with a disposition to match, and is known for her calm and friendly nature, which her foals inherit along with incredible movement.

What's In A Name?: Storm Alert was the name of a filly who was runner-up in the 2004 VRC Crown Oaks. She ran second to Hollow Bullet and was trained by Lee Freedman. I liked her name.
