Costs & Suppliers

In order to run a barn such as Terre D'Ange successfully, many inputs are required. Below is a list of suppliers and costs for various materials needed to make Terre D'Ange run.

Feed and bedding
• Straw - $5.50 per bale from Local Co-op.
• Oats: $60 per ton from Local Stockfeed.
• Lucerne Hay: $3.50 per bale (ten biscuits) from Local Stockfeed when own supplies run out.

  Pasture Maintenance

• Fertiliser: $344.00/ton (applied at rate of 125kg/ha) from Local Co-op.
• Herbicide: $15/ha from Local Co-op.
• Insecticide: $2.20/ha from Local Co-op.

  Health care

• Vet, farrier and dentistry requirements are seen to be myself.

  Utilities

• Water: $25.00/month for access and further 77c/kL used.
